Here are just a few samples of my voice over work.

The target for this spot was young music creatives and professionals, requiring a natural, relatable, and confident read. I closely analyzed the script, ensuring that every word was felt by the intended audience and aligned with objective of the spot. Through extensive study I became familiar enough with the script to play and explore different deliveries, refining each take into a cohesive read that strikes a balance between authenticity and energy. The video has amassed over 10K views and is the most viewed video on the channel.

SURF Music Spot

This spot was a digital ad for SURF Music. SURF music is an app for music makers to sell their unreleased music to buyers across the global entertainment industry. Their target audience is young music producers, recording artists, songrwriters, and music professionals who are interested in entering the global market as well as exploring new avenues of generating income from their music.

The voice over serves as the narration of the introduction video for SURF's Youtube page.  As the first point of contact with the SURF's channel it is aimed to direct people to the other videos and site for additional information and membership access.

Despite not being a native Spanish speaker, I collaborated closely with a translator/voice talent to ensure the voiceover's pacing and intonation matched the original energy. I directed both our performances, having him record both his lines and mine to provide a reference for pronunciation. Extensive research and reference materials aided in recording and editing the voiceover. As for on-screen text, inaccessible original files prompted creative solutions: using opaque backgrounds to obscure existing text while mirroring its animation. The final result? Videos brimming with Spanish text and voiceover, all while preserving the playful essence of the Wizards' brand.

The objective of the video is to boost student enrollment and rally support from families, friends, and school staff for the fundraiser, aiming to achieve 100% student participation. This project presented unique challenges as I was tasked with translating all voiceovers and on-screen text into Spanish, targeting a school where over 60% of students hail from primarily Spanish-speaking households. Complicating matters, I lacked access to the original video assets, necessitating edits over existing text and graphics.

Harlem Wizards Spot

The video encourages participation in the "Wizfit" fundraiser organized by the Harlem Wizards, renowned for their dynamic show basketball events benefiting schools and nonprofits worldwide. Their brand exudes fun, high energy, and excitement, catering to elementary schools, families with young children, and youth-centric organizations.

Kuku FM Audiobook Narration

This narration was for an audiobook entitled "Oscar Controversies: Behind the Scenes" to be uploaded to KukuFM. KukuFm is one of India's largest audiobook platform's creating a breadth of opportunity for creators to be connected with a large audience of listeners. The target audience is subscribers of KukuFM's premium podcast listening service.

The narration was intended to engage listeners enough to keep them on the platform as well as to provide incentive for trial listeners to upgrade their memberships to access all of the chapters.

The content of the audiobook ranges from factual, historical accounts to dramatic retellings of physical altercations at the Oscar's. I analyzed each chapter of the script, considering the audience, narrative, historical context, and intention to ensure an engaging, seamless flow. The audiobook continues performing well, with over 8k plays on the platform and 4.7 star rating.
